Chay S Turner-Richards

Since leaving school I went head first into the industry, soaking up every scrap of knowledge and taking any opportunity that arose. Through this I found a passion for visual storytelling and the power it has.

I have worked primarily in the camera department; from starting as a Runner to now working as a Cinematographer. Filming on corporate shoots, live streaming events and on short and feature length films, for both independent and studio productions.

When I’m not busy on a shoot or editing, I work as a studio technician in Media City. Where I maintain and support other filmmakers with camera support, greenscreen and motion capture studios.

A huge aim for all my work is making it sustainable, by avoiding the use of paper. I will always strive to make a production as green as possible.

During weekends I will be out in the national parks walking the dog or working on camera skills.
